EtherSpeak Communications, the innovators of SwitchTrunk™, is pleased to announce the general availability of RecordaTrunk™, carrier-provided trunk recording for all inbound and outbound calls through Asterisk-based platforms.

RecordaTrunk is an optional monthly service for SwitchTrunk customers built for all types of applications based on the Session Initiation Protocol: voice, video, instant messaging, and file transfers. System administrators can easily establish policies to manage and preserve SIP sessions through an internal database with recording data that accounts and allows for search and retrieval based on metrics such as call parties or time stamp. RecordaTrunk provides the ability to retrieve voice call in the form of a .wav file and the IM can be viewed in its native text format.
